Remove unnecessary software from your computer. It can be your faulty printer driver of which you have thrown out. Among others, it can be your imaging and scanning software that comes with that printer. Or a game that you have never played since you’ve won all the stages.

After that, empty your internet browser cache, temp files, 0-byte files from your computer. It will speed up your computer a little bit. You can also use third party tool to do for your automaticcally.

Any technical support would love to guide you through the problem if you can provide enough information for them to see the error.

Normally, I would say that if you can describe your error very well it is good enough. But, if you can add few more screen shots of the error appeared on your computer screen it will make solving your problem much easier. Like people say, seeing is believing.

Be prepared with these typical questions.
1) When this problem occurred?
2) What did the last thing you do before this happened?
3) Have you changed any settings?

Doesn’t matter whether it is a hardware or software. Try to undo the change to the state before the problem occurred.

You maybe just inserted a new PCI-e graphic card into your computer or upgrading the memory. Try remove the hardware first and try again.

Or, it happened after you updated your Windows, installed new software or deleted some files in your computer.

According my personal statistics, about more 50% of the problems are solved by restarting the computer.

It is also applies to the application problems such Microsoft Outlook, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office applications, business applications etc.

By restarting, some of the cache will be cleared and refreshed.

The funny thing is that even sometimes you don’t even to know the problem but you can solve it by restarting your computer.

Other problem such as internet connectivity issue can also be solved by restarting the modem and the router.

Exception to this rule, you cannot restart something that is still running in the memory. Eg. a running router and a database server.
